Women in Information and Telecommunication Systems (WITS) promotes academic, personal, and professional growth for women through community building, and networking and mentoring opportunities. WITS provides connections between the academic and professional world by pairing students with mentors who are working in the field, and also provides additional opportunities for student activities. WITS encourages women to consider careers in the information and telecommunication fields.
WITS invites women working in the information and telecommunication field to become involved with mentoring. Likewise, students are encouraged to join WITS. For more information about WITS and opportunities in the McClure School, please contact the WITS faculty advisor and/or WITS student president.
